MISSIONS
Ted and Malia Winston
Please pray for me as I see my rheumatologist again in early December. I know it’s my new normal, but some days are quite difficult. On October 8, Ted and I are both speaking on the topic of marriage and relationships to the youth at the UJEB (downtown youth group). On the 10th, I’m leading a workshop on how to communicate when relationships get complicated. I could use your prayers as I put the finishing touches on the whole thing. On the 11th of October, Ted will be speaking at the 35-year anniversary of our church. Pray for him as he prepares what God has put on his heart. Two of the elders will soon be at the end of their mandates, so good replacements need to be found ASAP. Additionally, our church will be celebrating the end of all financial loans! I’m heading to CA at the end of October to visit my parents, who just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, and to give a break to my brother, who tends to their immediate needs. We are so grateful for all the sun we had this summer and fall!
